Corvallis Leadership Commonwealth is a community of homeschooling families cultivating self-governance and inspiring a generation of leaders. It is a New Commonwealth School, founded on the principles of Leadership Education, based on A Thomas Jefferson Education by Oliver DeMille and The Phases of Learning by Oliver and Rachel DeMille. Classes meet weekly on Thursdays. Parents serve as mentors and students have stewardship over what they learn through mentored projects. Our core classes or projects are mentored by volunteer parents, who have been trained by the Thomas Jefferson Education-based mentor-training company, Leadership Education Mentoring Institute.
